By popular demand, Victoria’s Ultimate Hobby and Toy Fair returns this weekend inviting toy lovers, collectors and retro buffs to come together, browse each table and reconnect with their favourite childhood memories.
From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, event-goers can browse toys, action figures, collectibles, vinyl records, and more sprawled out amongst 200 tables at Pearkes Arena near Tillicum Centre.
Since 2007 this community event has helped raise over $57,000 for local charities.
This year proceeds will go towards BC Children’s Hospital and the MS Society with a silent auction taking place throughout the weekend.
The 501st Outer Rim Garrison will also be there raising money for Victoria Hospitals Foundation.
“This event is always something to look forward to. You never know what you might find and I love watching all the smiling faces,” said organizer and promoter Candice Woodard.
We also get to give back to the community and raise money for local charities, which is really important to us. It’s just such a great weekend.”
