Now all you have to do is look within yourself and figure out if your needs include dancing or vibing…or both?

BBQ fundraiser for Steve Seekins family

For anyone looking to provide extra support to the Seekins family, there will be a BBQ fundraiser on Thursday, May 25th at the Municipal Hall in Oak Bay. They’ll be serving pulled pork and brisket – food is purchased by donation.

Steve Seekins, a father of two, and Oak Bay municipal worker, was killed after being struck by a vehicle while working last week

Indigenous Elders Fundraiser

Visit the Victoria Native Friendship Centre on Thursday, May 25th for craft sales, food sales, cultural performances and a silent auction. Proceeds will go towards the programs that ensure the Elders and Seniors have access to food security, health and wellness programs, general support, and much more.

Folk Night at The Mint

Local musicians in a cozy atmosphere – The Mint hosts Folk Nights every second Thursday. Don’t miss this week’s performers, Nastasha Simone, Talel McBriar, and Zach Kleisinger! Tickets are $15 and can be purchased via Eventbrite or $20 at the door.

Reading at Bolen Books

Join Canadian author, Amanda Peters, as she reads from her debut novel, The Berry Pickers. Her book is described as mysterious and riveting – capturing themes of trauma and the power of love.

Cabo Nights at the Strathcona

For the late-nighters! Come to The Sticky Wicket at the Strathcona for a night of Latin music and dancing! Thursday, March 25th will feature Dj Jay Ville & Dj Moses “El Pachanguero.” Tickets can be purchased for $15 on Eventbrite or $20 at the door.
