West Shore RCMP are investigating a daytime stabbing in Langford on Sunday that sent one man to hospital.

On May 14th, at about 3:30 p.m., West Shore RCMP responded to a report of a stabbing that took place near Station Avenue and Jacklin Road.

Police say a 35-year-old man got into an altercation with another person which led up to the stabbing incident.

The victim was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

“The investigation is on-going and police believe this is an isolated incident and the public is not at risk,” West Shore RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Nancy Saggar told Victoria Buzz.

Victoria Buzz is working to confirm whether or not a suspect has been arrested.
