Large bearded suspect sought for assault after leaving a Victoria bus last month

VicPD are asking for public assistance identifying a man who allegedly assaulted someone shortly after exiting a bus just over a month ago.

At around 9:30 a.m. on April 20th, someone was allegedly assaulted near a BC Transit bus stop in the 1300-block of Douglas Street by the suspect. 

VicPD say shortly after the large man exited the bus, the assault occurred. A camera mounted inside the vehicle captured a picture of the suspect police are trying to identify.

He is described as a 55 to 65-year-old man, standing 6’2” inches tall, with a large build, grey beard and he carries a cane.
