

VicPD are seeking the public’s help in an ongoing investigation into a motor vehicle incident involving a cyclist that occurred earlier this morning.
At approximately 6:30 a.m. on May 24th, officers responded to a motor vehicle incident near the intersection of Bay Street and Vancouver Street, where a cyclist was involved.
The cyclist was immediately transported hospital in stable condition, according to BC Emergency Health Services. It’s unclear how serious the injuries were.
“Two people were cared for at the scene before being transported to hospital in stable condition,” said BC Emergency Health Services.
The area between Cook Street and Quadra Street on Bay Street was temporarily closed until approximately 12:30 p.m. as police investigated the crash.
Investigators are urging anyone who witnessed the incident or possess dashcam footage to help them determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
