5 things to do in and around Victoria this Friday, June 9th

As usual, Victoria is bumping with live music events and places to unwind after a long week of work.

Witness the frenzy of an art battle, pull up a chair at a fiddle festival, or enjoy a casual beer at the Langford Station!

Whichever you choose, you’ll be immersing yourself in another good moment in the city.

Without further ado, here’s 5 things to do in and around Victoria on Friday, June 9th:

Sam Tudor with Layten Kramer & Niloo

An all-ages performance is coming to the Centennial United Church this Friday!

If you’re looking for a beautiful and unique performance from three Canadian artists, this is for you. 

Get ready for the melodies and powerful lyrics!

Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Fridays at Langford Station

Don’t forget about Fridays at the Station — they kicked off May 12th and will run until August 25th!

Come enjoy a perfect evening of live music, food trucks and beer taps.

It’s free to attend, just bring money if you’re hoping to quench your thirst and stuff your bellies full of fantastic food!

Live music at Vinyl Envy

This Friday, Vinyl Envy presents O.P. Yeti, Brainiac, Gravy Beats, Oz, and Livant!

An incredible lineup and all of them are ready to blow your mind with their lively energy and melodic verses.

Tickets are $17 and can be purchased via Eventbrite.

The Seaside Folkn’Fiddle Festival

Kicking off Friday, June 9th is the Seaside Folkn’Fiddle Festival — with genres that include Bluegrass, Folk, Country, and more!

Some of the artists listed are The Fretless, Stephen Fearing, Mariel Buckley, and Jake Vaadeland & The Sturgeon River Boys.

Art Battle Victoria City Championship

Art battles — where creativity and epic experience collide!

Gather your pals and take them to the Victoria Event Centre to witness the Art Battle All-starts and winners as they return for a chance to be crowned 2023 Victoria City Champion.

Tickets can be purchased here for $22 or it’s $30 at the door!
