Exciting news for travelers passing through Swartz Bay!

The newly renovated Lands End Café has opened its doors, unveiling a modern and improved dining experience.

After three months of extensive renovation work, BC Ferries says the café has been transformed into a stylish space that aims to enhance the customer experience for the millions of people who depart through the terminal each year.

One of the major highlights of the renovation is the upgraded equipment, including ovens and coffee machines, as well as the service counter.

These improvements enable the café to offer a wider range of food and beverage options while significantly reducing wait times for customers.

In addition, digital boards now display the new menu, which is comparable to the offerings at the popular Arbutus Coffee Bar on the Spirit Class vessels. The menu will also now include ice cream, soup, and hot cereal.

The Lands End Café has consistently been a favorite among travelers, as evidenced by its impressive performance over the past year.

In the past year, with the location recording close to a quarter million transactions and sales exceeding $2 million, it’s clear that this renovation was much needed.

Notably, the café served over 125,000 cups of coffee, nearly 20,000 sandwiches, and more than 13,000 soft-serve ice creams.

During the renovation period, a pop-up café had been operating to ensure customers’ dining needs were met.
