This year’s Canada Day celebrations in Victoria will feature fireworks and multicultural events

Canada Day celebrations are back, and this year they promise to be better than ever!

2023’s Canada Day celebrations in Victoria will kick off July 1st at Belleville Street and the Legislature Lawn, featuring live, locally-focused music and entertainment performances, interactive activities, multicultural food options and a spectacular fireworks display to end the day.

This year, Canada Day Victoria organizers Penmar Community Arts Society and Blue Coast Event Group, have announced EF International Language Campuses as the
new Presenting Sponsor for the celebrations.

EF International Language Campuses is one of the world’s largest English language immersion programs, and they have a new school in Victoria which is welcoming hundreds of international students for an immersive learning experience—learn more about the benefits and impact of being a host family here!

“We are delighted to be providing sponsorship support for Canada Day Victoria,” announced Elena Eliseeva, Campus Director, EF International Language Campuses.

“We are thrilled for our international students to get an authentic Canadian experience. We look forward to celebrating Canada’s diverse cultural mosaic.”

Canada Day Victoria 2023 has planned a full day of diverse, main stage performances. There will also be an action-packed kids’ zone on the lawn of the BC legislature which will offer a wide range of activities.

Experiential exhibits and multicultural food options will be located along Belleville Street. The day’s festivities will culminate with a fireworks display over the Inner Harbour at 10:20 p.m.
