10 splash parks around Victoria to beat the heat with your kids this weekend

Share

The heat is coming back with a vengeance this weekend after a slight reprieve Thursday and Friday.

That means ice cream is on the menu, sunscreen will need to be slathered and people are on the hunt for a nice cool bit of water to play around in.

For adults, it’s easy to cannonball into the Gorge or find a sandy bit of ocean to run into, but kids can be a bit more fussy. With the temperature of the ocean water kids being kids, many parents want to make sure their young ones are safe while keeping cool.

Splash parks are perfect for this and in Greater Victoria, there are a plethora of splash pads which are safe and designed for kids to be entertained for hours.
