Sidney Street Market
This beloved market has been running since June 15th and will continue to pack the streets of Sidney until September 14th!
With over 80 confirmed vendors participating, the REMAX Sidney Street Market always offers a diverse range of products. From delectable baked goods and farm-fresh produce to unique arts and crafts, pet accessories, photography, clothing, jewelry, and much more, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.
Bring your pals and hunt for something unique, delicious, and fun!

Bat Sabbath at Lucky Bar
Coming at you from Lucky Bar, Cancer Bats are here to show their raw admiration and love for the metal band Black Sabbath, with their now infamous cover band/alter ego Bat Sabbath.
They are touring across western Canada and are, as described, “ready to fuel beer soaked orgies of destruction with their triumphant return to stage.”

Dinosour Patio Party
Attention all beer lovers!
An epic Dinosour Patio Party event is set to take over the Phillips patio this Thursday, and you’re invited.
They will have prizes, good tunes, and a ton of new and experimental Dinosour beers! Plus, there will be hot dogs and free doughnuts to celebrate!
Space fills up quickly so get there early to make sure you get a seat.

Chekhov Parker Chekhov: Fringe Festival
From 2015 Pick of Fringe, Catador Theatre now presents ‘Chekhov Parker Checkhov,’ featuring three short plays by Anton Chekhov and Dorothy Parker on the theme of marriage, not love.
Described as comedic, dark and witty, this ensemble of a cast unites these masters in an exciting literary ride.
Tickets for this show are $15 and you need a Fringe Button (festival membership) to see it, which is an additional $6 if you haven’t already purchased one.

Morry Stearns & Joey Smith at Riva
Dine on the Sidney waterfront and enjoy the enchanting music from Morry Stearns and Joey Smith at Riva.
As described, Stearns is a Victoria based grammy nominated singer/songwriter and pianist. He is also a long time member of David Foster’s Canadian band, featuring performances with David, Celine Dion, Nelly Furtado, Bryan Adams, Gordon Lightfoot, Kenny Loggins, and more.
Smith is Joey is one of Victoria’s most beloved guitarist and bassist and is originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee. He toured with Glenn Miller Orchestra for over two years as their bassist and arranger before moving to Victoria. For the past 35 years he has been bassist and guitarist for many local groups and has collaborated with various international touring artists!
