BC Transit announces Greater Victoria buses will return to their fall schedule in September

Share

Attention bus-commuters of Greater Victoria!

Students are headed back to class, and as of Tuesday, September 5th, BC Transit’s schedule will undergo its seasonal service change to accommodate returning students.

Additional trips are being added to routes that serve post-secondary schools and routes that serve Kindergarten to Grade 12 students — such as Route 17 Cedar hill, which will be reintroduced for the school season.

Other changes will include a decrease of scheduled running times for routes 70 and 75 to reflect the seasonal demand.

According to the release, these changes will impact route 70 on a daily basis, while the changes for route 75 will only impact service on Saturday.

Route 25, Maplewood/Tillicum Centre, will now operate along Gorge Road West, between Admirals Road and Tillicum Road.

And lastly, to accommodate the influx of students, the extended late-night service will be introduced on routes 4, 6, 14, 15, 26, 27, 28, and 95.
