Rugby lovers, this one’s for you!
Canada’s Women’s and Men’s Rugby Sevens Teams will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to qualify for Paris 2024 right here in Langford, and you could be a part of the action.
This August 19th and 20th, you’re invited to Starlight Stadium to watch the teams battle it out on home soil in front of family, friends, and Canadian rugby fans.
The teams from North America will be playing for the chance to live out their Olympic dreams.
Tickets are now on sale, and not only will they get you access to two-full days of rugby action, there will also beer gardens, BBQ, DJs, food trucks, and tons more fan fun all weekend long!

In this winner-takes-all tournament, the top-placed women’s team and top-placed men’s team will directly qualify for Paris 2024.
The women’s competition will feature one pool of Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, St. Lucia, and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, with the top two teams following pool play progressing to the final.
The men’s competition is divided into two pools, with Canada playing Barbados, Jamaica and St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The pools will then cross over for play-offs, with the top two teams from each pool playing in the semi-finals.
With the USA out of contention to automatically qualify for Paris 2024 through a top-four finish in the HSBC World Rugby Sevens Series, the Americans will also be on the hunt for an Olympic berth in Langford, potentially setting up a cross-border match-up for first place.
