This month, Capital Bike is hosting a scavenger hunt with the hopes people will hop on their wheels and get out and about with a ton of prizes as an incentive.
The Sticker Challenge is their annual summer activation to help teach people about some bike routes, introduce them to local businesses they may have never been to and most importantly, have fun while riding their bikes, skateboards, scooters or whatever kind of wheels they have.
This year, the scavenger hunt is on from August 14th to 27th and stretches from Sidney through to Victoria, and out to Colwood with stops all along the way.
In total there are over 50 locations and over $2,500 in prizes to be given away.
Sounds great right, but how does it work?
All Victorians need to do is get out and ride to any of the locations on the map, scan the QR code which will be located at the front desks of all the businesses involved and fill out the corresponding form — then collect your wee-earned sticker!
The more stickers you collect, the better chances you have at winning one of their prizes.
Another way to win is to take a selfie with all your pictures and email it to Capital Bike for entry in the best selfie contest.

- The Champion: for those who collect all the stickers
- One winner will receive a prize pack worth $649 from Arc’teryx, Butchart Gardens and WildPlay
- Small But Mighty: for those who collect over five stickers.
- Six winners will receive prize packs worth $42 from Victoria Bug Zoo and Lighthouse Brewing
- Rainbow: for those who explore a bit and collect five different stickers
- Five winners will receive a prize pack worth $183 from Pepper’s Foods, North Park Bikes, Market on Yates and Lighthouse Brewing
- Colour Master: for those who collect all of one sticker type
- Ten winners will receive a prize pack worth $20 from The Nest Cafe and Lighthouse Brewing
- Social Media: share your Sticker Challenge experience with by tagging Capita Bike and using the hashtag #StickerChallengeYYJ.
- One winner will receive a prize pack worth $200 from Ride the glide, WildPlay and the Victoria Bug Zoo
- Best Selfie: for the coolest selfie with stickers submitted to them
- One winner will receive a prize pack worth $327 from Ride the Glide, Dockside Physiotherapy and WildPlay
