Fernwood Comedy Night
Back for another night of belly-busting laughs, the Fernwood Inn invites you to their Comedy Night!
This month’s headliner is set to be Mikey Dubs and will be accompanied by many other talented comedians before taking the stage!

If you’re looking for a space to let your creative mind flow just as steadily as the beer taps, then head over to The Drake!

Lorna Crozier & M.A.C Farrant
Join the Munro’s Books crew and other guests for an evening with local authors, Lorna Crozier and M.A.C Farrant.
They’re both celebrating the releases of their new books.
Lorna Crozier’s collection of poetry, After That, brings forward the sorrow and grace surrounding the loss of her husband, writer Patrick Lane, with whom she shared forty years with.
M.A.C Farrant’s book, Jigsaw, comprises of ninety-three literary puzzle pieces that mimic the actual practice of assembling a jigsaw puzzle. It’s described as whimsical, insightful, meditative, funny, and factual.
This event is free to attend and there will be opportunities for a book signing!

The Jive Big Band & The Blue Bosses
Good tunes for a great cause—take a trip downtown for this special fundraising event for the Rainbow Kitchen.
This massive twenty-person band, directed by trombonist Nick La Riviere, will be performing the music of Arturo Sandoval, Michael Bublé, Buddy Rich, Blood Sweat & Tears, The Preservation Hall Jazz Band, and more.
Admission to this event is by donation—help out the community and enjoy some talented musicians!

Open House with Victoria Scottish Gaelic Choir
Looking for something new to learn?
Attend this public introduction to Gaelic choir, join a singalong, enjoy a short performance, and if you end up liking it, find out how you could get involved!
No previous Gaelic experience is necessary, just a desire to learn and sing.
