WHL Victoria Royals vs. Medicine Hat Tigers

Go Royals, go!

Not only will you experience the excitement of hockey, but also at a valued price!

Tuesday is their ‘Value Weekdays’ game, so there will be specials on tickets, food, and drinks.

Ticket prices vary but the cost starts as low as $6!

Emma Donoghue at Bolen Books

Heads up, book lovers!

As a part of their 2023 Fall Literary Festival, Emma Donoghue will present her newest novel, ‘Learned By Heart’.

You may recognize her name! Donoghue is the award-winning author of famous novel ‘Room’—which was adapted to film in 2015 and stars Brie Larson.

Maude’s Trivia Night

Widely popular and always worth the trip, Maude’s returns for another Tuesday of epic trivia!

Bring your team and get ready to crank out some wild facts, play along to win prizes, and treat yourself to some of Maude’s delicious beer-battered fries and beer on tap.

Trivia starts at 8 p.m. but make sure to come early — especially if you have a larger table, otherwise you’ll have to come back next week!

No fee to play.

Halloween Decorating at Loghouse Pub

Looking for the ultimate rainy day activity?

The Loghouse Pub is hosting The Original Craft Night group and they’ve got a wonderful evening of decorating planned for participants.

On the docket for Tuesday is a Halloween-themed bottle lantern! Spruce up the outside of the bottle and then add the lights as a finishing touch.

Tickets are $45 and all of the supplies are provided—to sign up, email theoriginalcraftnight@gmail.com!

Victoria International Jewish Film Festival

Creators, film buffs, and curious spectators, listen up!

The International Jewish Film Festival is back in Victoria for its 9th year and will feature both online and in person showings at the Vic Theatre from Tuesday, October 17th to October 22nd.

So, if you can’t make it for its opening day, you’ll have loads of time to catch these unique and incredible films!
