Costume and animal lovers of Victoria, this is for you!

Looking for a unique family-friendly Halloween activity AND an excuse to dress up your pet?

The Carr House is inviting everyone to their 3rd annual ‘Howl-oween’ pet parade on Saturday, October 28th at 1 p.m. in the gardens of the Carr House Museum and Creative Centre.

Not only will you be able to get creative with costumes, you’ll also have the opportunity to mingle with loads of other cute animals and socialize with fellow pet owners!

“Visitors often know that Emily Carr had a pet monkey, but not as many know that she dressed it up in costumes!” said Pascale Halliday, Executive Director for Carr House.

“We’re hoping to see the people and pets from our community come out in some fetching costumes to share in the fun!”

If you wish to participate from home, you’re more than welcome to send in your pet photos for the chance to win the best virtual costume.

Check in for pets is 12:30 p.m. and the parade starts at 1 p.m.—the event will take place rain or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather!

This event is free and open to all ages, just make sure you register soon because space is limited.
