The Chocolate Project
A delicious collection of creations with a very inspirational story!
David Mincey is well known for his Victoria restaurant Camille’s, for locally sourced farm-to-table cuisine. But he noticed how difficult it was to find locally sourced chocolate and instead had to turn to large corporations with no traceable connections to where they got it from.
They don’t sell a specific advent-related calendar, however, they do have an exceptional lineup of Christmas flavoured chocolate bars and a monthly subscription box filled with limited edition batches!
Grab just one box for the month of December or many if you’re looking for more chocolate satisfaction.
- Where: 1311 Blanshard Street
- When: Open 7 days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Cocoa Community Confections Inc.
Call them Cococo Chocolatiers for short—these motivated and sustainability driven individuals have created a conscious, traceable, and award-winning chocolate!
Based in Calgary and spread across Canada, you can purchase some of these exquisite treats for yourself and know that your purchases are making a difference, one bar at a time.
Their Victoria location can be found in Broadmead Village!
Their advent calendar contains their most popular award-winning chocolates and some traditional favourites like Thai Ginger Sea Salt Chocolate Caramel, Passion Fruit Caramel, Earl Grey Tea and much more.
They come a stunning package—from the carefully crafted sliding boxes, colourful wrapping, and cute shapes!
