Jurassic Park in Concert

Get ready for a roaring good time, Victoria!

You’re invited enjoy the sights and sounds of Jurassic Park on the big screen, right here in Victoria, with the Victoria Symphony to provide the iconic soundtrack for it all.

Jurassic Park in Concert will run across two days, Thursday, November 9th and Friday, November 10th, with showtimes at 7:30 p.m. on both days.

Shows will take place at downtown Victoria’s Royal Theatre, with tickets starting at $32 each and available for purchase online.

Glorious Sons: The Glory Tour

Following the release of their brand-new single “Mercy Mercy” two-time JUNO Award-winning rock band The Glorious Sons announced the Glory Tour, which has brought them all the way to Victoria!

The Glorious Sons will be taking the Save-On-Foods Memorial Centre stage this Thursday and everyone better be ready for an epic evening.

Featured guests will include The Blue Stones and the Velveteers on select dates.

Ticket prices vary depending on seat selection, but the lowest price starts at around $30. You can purchase them here.

Book Launch: Arleen Pare and Barbara Pelman

Poetry lovers and literary enthusiasts—Munro’s Books is hosting a double book launch!

The books presented are described as follows:

Award-winning poet Arleen Pare’s latest collection, Absence of Wings, is both an intimate family portrait and a public documentation of how we, as a society, can fail to protect our children.

In A Brief and Endless Sea, award-winning poet Barbara Pelman presents a life lived in poetry, delving into the small moments and spaces containing the greatest offerings of love, hope and possibility.

The event is free to attend and will include a reading from Pare and Pelman’s work, followed by a Q&A session.

Winter Small Works Show & Sale

The Art Gallery of Greater Victoria is hosting their annual Winter Small Works Show & Sale Opening Reception, and you’re invited!

You’ll be able to browse through a variety of local art for sale from a multitude of different artists.

The Show & Sale will run until January 27th.

Indoor Esquimalt Farmers Market
