The official kick-off to the holiday season is nearly here, and this year, you’re not going to want to miss it!
Join Uptown this weekend on Saturday, November 18th to watch in wonder as one of the tallest Christmas trees in the region will be lit during their annual festive celebration.
Santa Claus himself will light up the 54-foot-tall tree following a family-friendly holiday show on Uptown Boulevard, and you’re invited to partake in the magic!
Plus, we’ve partnered with Uptown to make your holidays a little bit brighter—by giving away a $500 gift card! You’ll find those contest details below.
Uptown’s official kickoff to the holidays will run from 5 p.m to 7:30 p.m., with the magical tree light-up countdown to begin at 7 p.m.
Families are welcome to arrive early to get a good spot by the stage, get a warm beverage or a snack, and check out the lineup of talented performers on the main stage!

- 5 p.m. – MC Welcome Johnny Novak
- 5 p.m.-5:20 p.m. – Anna & Elsa Princess Sing Along
- 5:20 p.m.-5:40 p.m. – Protégé Dance Project
- 5:40 p.m.-6 p.m. – South Island Harmony A Cappella Men’s Chorus
- 6 p.m.-6:20 p.m. – The County Line
- 6:20 p.m.-6:40 p.m. – Ballet Etoile
- 6:40 p.m.-7 p.m. – The Rising Circus
- 7 p.m. (approximately) – Santa & Mrs. Claus light tree
- 7:05 p.m. – Mike Roma & Caitlin Rutledge
There will also be tons of additional family fun happening throughout the night, including:
- Anna & Elsa from Enchanted Fables will be doing Meet & Greets in a globe from 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. after their performance
- Free face painting in one of the globes care of Sparkle Storm Face Painting & Sunlit Faces
- Sugar Cookie decorating workshop with House of Luo
- Sweet Trees by Sam will be selling decorative sweets
- Cozy hot chocolate care of Softys
- Hot apple cider from Whole Foods Market
- Activity station by Earlybird
