Calling up all soccer fans!
We’re nearing the Canada versus Australia soccer match at Starlight Stadium on December 1st, and the City of Langford as well as the West Shore Developers Association has a phenomenal opportunity brewing.
To support Goldstream Food Bank during the season of giving, they have organized a silent auction that will give the winner and a group of people the chance of a lifetime.
The package comes with 30 VIP entrance tickets, which is a mix of standing room and seating, and $1000 towards food and beverage—food and beverage requests have to be pre-ordered by Wednesday, November 29th.
“Our hope is that the auction raises a significant amount of money for the Goldstream Food Bank, which needs the community’s support now more than ever,” said Langford Mayor Scott Goodmanson.
“I encourage everyone to bid what they can to support the food bank during such a critical time. We know more people than ever are accessing the support of their local food bank, and this is one small way we can give back and rally around the love of sport for a good cause.”
100% of the funds raised in the online silent auction will go towards the Goldstream Food Bank, offering much needed support during a critical time of need in the community!
From Tuesday, November 21st until Monday, November 27th, you can place your bid for the chance to win this crazy prize package as well as support those in need.
The minimum bid is $100 but you can customize it to give as much as you wish. You can place your bid here.
