Have you ever donated blood?
Whether it’s your 50th donation or your very first, next week you’ll have the chance to make a difference in someone’s life – and meet the Victoria Buzz team while you’re at it!
On Tuesday, November 21st, Victoria Buzz will join forces with Canadian Blood Services to host a blood drive, and you’re invited.
We will be on-site at their Victoria location from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., and we will have plenty of snacks to give away, along with some sweet prizes! A few of our team members will be donating as well.
Donating is even better with friends and loved ones, so make sure to invite all of your eligible pals! You can find eligibility requirements here.
Blood and blood products are a critical part of everyday medical care, including major surgeries, medical procedures, cancer treatments and managing diseases and disorders – and there is no substitute.
Did you know that half of all Canadians will either need blood, or know someone who will need blood at some point in their lives? Despite this, only 4% of Canadians donate.
Next week, you can join us in helping the thousands of Canadians that need blood – and every donation truly counts.
Plus, we’ve also joined forces with Nautical Nellies to give away a $200 gift card – you have to keep your iron up for those blood donations, after all, and a delicious steak is the best way to do so!
