Festive Brass The Victoria Choral Society

Popular group Festive Brass will be bringing a special holiday performance to the Farquhar at UVic!

They’re bringing audiences their unique take on “reindeer games”—including caroling and holiday favourites presented by a stellar brass quintet joined by an all-star rhythm ensemble.

The Victoria Choral Society will join them in singing some beautiful arrangements as well!

OK, DOPE Student Showcase

Join the members of OK, DOPE and The Mint as they present the last Student Showcase event of 2023!

This Thursday’s show will feature Alex Forman’s improv and Elyott Ryans stand-up students as they bring their new comedic skills live to the stage.

20th Annual Daniel Lapp’s Home for Christmas 

Love the beauty of a good Christmas melody?

The Victoria Conservatory of Music (VCM) has a special holiday celebration happening at Victoria’s Royal Theatre!

They kicked off the 20th annual Daniel Lapp’s Home for Christmas show on Wednesday, December 20th and will feature the final show of the year this Thursday!

Lapp is a renowned music artist, teacher and local impresario and brings the holiday spirit to life with the help of his legendary ensembles such as the B.C. Fiddle Orchestra, Folkestra!, and the Joy of Life Choir.

Tickets start at $23.50 and are $18.50 for youth and students—you can purchase tickets for the December 20th show or the December 21st show here.

NWA Xmas Carol

If you’re looking for a Christmas party atmosphere, this is for you!

Join DJs Anger, Degree, Low & Marlon at Lucky Bar for a night of Compton & West Coast classics from NWA and beyond.

Winter Solstice at Victoria Event Centre (VEC)

VEC will be hosting the ultimate Winter Solstice party and you’re invited!

Prepare yourself for a night of hypnotic performances presented by open:ended—including special guests such as YURBOY THEO, ÆNNIÆ, PEACHES N’ SCREAMS!, and much more.

As described, the theme is “Velvet vs Leather”, so make sure you dress to impress.

Tickets are $35 per person or $150 for a squad of five people.
