Spas of America, a well-known travel website for all things rejuvenating, recently announced their Top 100 Spas of 2023, and one of their top spots is right here in Victoria.
The Oak Bay Beach Hotel’s Boathouse Spa was recognized as the #1 Ocean Spa experience in North America, #2 Spa in British Columbia, and #11 in Canada!
It’s their second big mention in the past week after claiming one of the top 100 spots for spa experiences in North America.

Every year, the annual Top 100 Spas award provides insight into consumers’ favourite spas based on unique page views and customer choices on the Spas of America website.
According to a media release, 2023 saw a noticeable resurgence in spa use and searches across North America—highlighting the continued importance of the ultimate relaxation getaways.

Some of the Boathouse Spa’s offerings include a full menu of treatments including facials, massages, body treatments, and RMT.
They also feature access to a heated seaside mineral pool, two hot tubs, sauna, and Boathouse Kitchen & Bar—which is Victoria’s only licensed, waterfront pool deck.
The Boathouse Kitchen & Bar is open year-round, serving a selection of cocktails, wine and beer as well as light snacks and desserts.
