Take your Easter egg hunt to new heights at the Malahat Skywalk!

Have your kids take part in a fun-filled Easter egg scavenger hunt that is available all weekend long. When kids find all the eggs, they will be rewarded with a special prize!

There will also be face painting on Sunday March 31st and Monday, April 1st — Malahat Skywalk will have a talented face painter available to transform your little ones into their favorite Easter characters.

  • Where: 901 Trans-Canada Highway, Malahat
  • When: 
    • Scavenger Hunt – All weekend long (March 29th, March 30th, March 31st and April 1st)
    • Facepainting – Sunday, March 31st and Monday April 1st from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children’s Easter Bunny Hunt at The Butchart Gardens

The Butchart Gardens Easter Bunny Hunt is back and will be taking place from March 29th to April 1st.

Children aged 17 years and younger will receive a map at the entrance to locate 10 bunnies hidden throughout The Gardens. Completed maps can be turned in at the Information Centre for an Easter treat. Additionally, children have the opportunity to enter a draw for an Easter basket. Entrance fee required.

Sooke’s Egg Hunt Relocates to John Phillips Memorial Park

Initially being hosted by Pemberton Holmes, the location has been moved to John Phillips Memorial Park!

This lovely event has become a huge family tradition for the residents of Sooke and this year will be bigger and better than ever.

The free event features separate egg hunts tailored for toddlers and elementary-age children. Gather as many eggs as possible and exchange them for exciting prizes!

Additionally, families can enjoy face painting, colouring activities, balloons and popcorn.

  • When: Saturday, March 30th—activities start at 10 a.m.

Encounter Church Egg Scramble

Encounter Church’s Egg Scramble is free and fun for the whole family!

The event, for children 12 and under, will take place at Banfield Park.

Bring your Easter basket or a bag and get ready to collect tons of colourful eggs stuffed with candy and surprises.

There are over 3000 eggs! Scramble starts at 11:30 a.m. sharp!

  • When: 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. , Saturday, March 30th

Fairfield United Easter Egg Hunt

Hop on down to our Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Robert Porter Park, hosted by Fairfield United Church. This free community event features songs, age-appropriate egg hunts, and sweet treats for all participants. Caregiver supervision is required, and siblings under 1 year old of a registered child can join for free. Don’t forget your Easter basket!

Rain or Shine this hunt will happen.

  • When: Saturday, March 30th—activities start at 11 a.m.

Colwood Easter Egg Hunt 

On Saturday, March 30th at 11 a.m., families can join the festivities at Meadow Park, where the Easter Bunny awaits. Remember to bring your own baskets as the hunt kicks off promptly at 11 a.m., with the start line accessible from Latoria Boulevard.

After the hunt, the fun continues at Meadow Park Green from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., with activities for the whole family:

Central Saanich Lions Easter Eggstravaganza

Take your kids to the annual Easter Egg Hunt organized by the Central Saanich Lions Club at noon on Easter Sunday at Centennial Park.

Central Saanich Lions Club Annual Easter Egg Hunt for children ages 1 -11 years old.
Children will be divided into the following age groups, 1 – 3 years old, 4 – 5 years old, 6 – 8 years old and 9 – 11 years old.

  • Where: 7500 block of Wallace Drive, Centennial Park
  • When: 12 p.m., Sunday March 31st

Peninsula Easter Egg Hunt

Children are invited to bring their Easter baskets to Dominion Brook Park (across from the Panorama Recreation Centre on East Saanich Road) in North Saanich. Find the hidden eggs, visit the Easter Bunny, and enjoy games and activities. Fun for the entire family! Hunt starts at 1 p.m. sharp!

25th Annual Neal Estate Egg Hunt for BC Children’s Hospital

Get ready for a cracking good time at the 25th Annual Neal Estate Egg Hunt, taking place at Elk Lake Beaver Lake Park for a day of family fun.

From face painting to Easter crafts and refreshments, there’s something for everyone.

Arrive early to enjoy the festivities starting at 10 a.m., with the egg hunts beginning promptly at 11 a.m. Be sure not to miss out—the hunts are over in a flash! Plus, your donations will support BC Children’s Hospital, so every egg counts towards a great cause.
