Floyd’s Diner building in Brentwood Bay up for sale at $2.1M

The Brentwood Bay building which Floyd’s Diner leases is up for sale for $2,100,000.

Despite this, Floyd’s Diner Director of Operations, Michelle Boyd has assured Victoria Buzz that it is just the building owner selling the property.

In a previous interview, Boyd said that Floyd’s moved in hoping for a long-term stay at the property.

Floyd’s moved in late September 2022, taking over the old Sassy’s location that many in the area had come to know and love.

According to Realtor.com, the property which is located on the Keating Cross Road and West Saanich Road acts as a gateway to the vibrant Brentwood Bay village and world-famous Butchart Gardens.

A selling point in the property’s description is that the Butchart Gardens sees over 1,000,000 visitors annually and the building in question is surrounded by wineries, farms as well as Butterfly Gardens.

The property is 0.92 acres all together and property taxes are estimated at over $18,300.

Contrary to what Boyd had told Victoria Buzz about remaining in the building long-term, the ad on Realtor.ca notes that interested parties should contact the agent for details regarding vacant possession.

If someone were to want to buy the property and have no one occupying it, they would have to include a specific clause in the deal that would push the owners to give notice to their tenants.
