London Drugs will remain closed across Western Canada, including in Greater Victoria, due to a cybersecurity incident on Sunday.
The retail and pharmacy chain stated it was forced to temporarily close 79 of its storefronts on Sunday, April 28th, due to the incident, which was initially described as an operational issue.
“At this time, we have no reason to believe that customer or employee data has been impacted,” the company said on X (formally Twitter).

According to London Drugs, pharmacists will be able to help with urgent needs.
“Pharmacists are standing by to support any customers with urgent pharmacy needs,” the statement read.
There is no estimated time on when the stores will reopen.
