Nearly 40,000 cruise ship passengers anticipated to arrive in Victoria this week

Can you feel the summer excitement in the air?

There are nearly 40,000 passengers expected to dock in at the Victoria Ogden Point Terminal this week, spread out across 14 cruise ships. 

This number includes Monday, May 20th’s departed cruise ship, Carnival Spirit with 2,124 people, which docked in Victoria at 8 p.m.

Followed close behind, Tuesday, May 21st brought us the Silver Shadow cruise at 9 a.m. with much less, totalled at 382 passengers. 

Next up, Carnival Luminosa is expected to arrive at the Ogden Point Terminal at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22nd, carrying 2,260 people.

Following those first vessels, the cruise ships’ docking schedule is listed below:

  • Thursday, May 23rd at 2 p.m.: Crown Princess with 3,080 passengers
  • Thursday, May 23rd at 5 p.m.: Ovation of the Seas with 4,180 passengers
  • Thursday, May 23rd at 5:30 p.m.: Celebrity Edge with 2,918 passengers
  • Friday, May 24th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Bliss with 4,250 passengers
  • Friday, May 24th at 8 p.m.: Eurodam with 2,104 passengers
  • Friday, May 24th at 9 p.m.: Discovery Princess with 3,660 passengers
  • Saturday, May 25th at 7 p.m.: Majestic Princess with 3,560 passengers
  • Saturday, May 25th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Encore with 3,998 passengers
  • Saturday, May 25th at 8 p.m.: Westerdam with 1,840 passengers
  • Sunday, May 26th at 8 a.m.: Silver Muse with 596 passengers
  • Sunday, May 26th at 5 p.m.: Quantum of the Seas with 4,180 passengers

Looks like the streets of Victoria are going to be buzzing!
