Toy lovers, collectors, hobbyists, and curious onlookers, you won’t want to miss this!
Dive into nostalgia and discover new things at Victoria’s Ultimate Hobby & Toy Fair this weekend on Saturday, May 25th and Sunday, May 26th.
Hosted by Cherry Bomb Toys, this toy extravaganza will be set up at Pearkes Recreation Centre from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with around 200 different tables set up for weekend-long family enjoyment.
Included on the tables will be action figures, collectibles, LEGO, vinyl records, models, diecast vehicles, vintage toys, Star Wars toys, and much more—you never know what you may find!
“This event is always something to look forward to. You never know what you might find and I love watching all the smiling faces,” said Candice, promoter and organizer of the event.
“We also get to give back to the community and raise money for local charities, which is really important to us. It’s just such a great weekend.”
The toy fair will be raising money for BC Children’s Hospital and the MS Society with a silent auction running at the event.
Additionally, there will be local food vendors, balloon art, LEGO displays and all sorts of door prizes for guests to win!
Tickets are available at the door, purchasable by cash only and offered in a couple of different packages.
Each day is priced at $5 for admission, or a Saturday ‘early bird’ ticket (which includes a pass for the weekend) for $15.
Kids aged 12 and under are free so long as they’re accompanied by an adult.
This event has been a favourite in the community since its inception in 2007, and continues to bring joy to families twice a year.
To date, the toy fair has helped raise over $62,000 for local charities!
