If you’re looking for something unique, Christ Church Cathedral is hosting a Beer and Hymns night!

Beer and Hymns

The Christ Church Cathedral invites everyone out to enjoy their singalong event, Beer and Hymns this Friday!

Guests will be treated to an evening of hymn singing, accompanied by the cathedral’s mighty Wolff organ, and a concession stand will be stocked with beer, wine, non-alcoholic drinks, and snacks.

Admission is by donation!

Ocean Week Victoria

If you haven’t already heard, it’s Ocean Week in Victoria!

It kicked off on Saturday, June 1st and is back to provide the perfect opportunity to celebrate our deep blue neighbour and all the creatures that live there.

There are a multitude of events happening throughout the week, and some of Friday’s highlights include the virtual United Nations World Oceans Day Celebration and the Intertidal Walk with Seaquaria.

The Seaside Music Festival

The Victoria Event Centre (VEC) is thrilled to present artist Jorane—a surprising creator and an instinctive vocalist, breaking musical standards and shaking up established codes.

She’s also known for her work with Sarah McLachlan, and draws comparisons to Tori Amos and Joanna Newsom.

Tickets are $39 online and $44 at the door.

OK, DOPE at The Mint

Start your weekend off with heaps of laughter at OK, DOPE’s show at The Mint!

Entertainment Village will feature improv inspired by the comedy of Mikey Dubs and includes performers Alex Forman, Andrew Brimstone, Morgan Cranny, and Ryan Steele.

Tickets are $20 and can be purchased here.

Fridays at the Station

The Victoria Beer Society is once again hosting their popular Fridays at the Station event in Langford!

Ring in the weekend at The Langford Station by enjoying live music, a selection of delicious food trucks, browsing local businesses and artist studios, and of course flights of delicious BC craft beer.

The Victoria Beer Society’s Beer Truck will be on site serving cold sleeves and flights of craft beer every Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This Friday will feature live music from Black Angus!
