Super 8 Film Screening: What Home Means to You

Join the City of Victoria for a free premiere screening of What Home Means to You—a series of eight three-minute short films that highlight local perspectives and their everyday lives.

Not only are these shorts a powerful look into local experiences, they’re also captured using the vintage magic of Super 8 film!

This project was made possible by City of Victoria Artist in Residence Kemi Craig, who invited eight emerging-to-established artists from various disciplines to participate.

Each of these artists was given one roll of Super 8 film and asked to create a storyboard and shoot their short film in chronological order—many of these artists were exploring filmmaking for the first time!

  • Where: Centennial Square, next to Victoria’s city hall
  • When: Thursday, June 6th from 8:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.

D-Day Hangar Dinner Dance
