A&W locations in Victoria serving up ‘Pup Patties’ at drive-thrus this week

Treat your pup and support a wonderful cause!

From June 10th to June 23rd, A&W will be serving up a delicious treat with a special purpose—the Pup Patty, sold for $2 each.

These Pup Patties are made from their specialty premium grass-fed beef, but without the seasoning to ensure every dog can safely savour it!

Each patty purchased will see a portion of the proceeds donated to non-profit organizations in Canada dedicated to the raising and training of service dogs, including the Pacific Assistance Dogs Society (PADS).

“I have been a PADS volunteer for the past two years so this program is very close to my heart,” said Amanda Wang, A&W’s Director of Marketing.

“I’m very grateful for the support from the whole A&W organization in running this campaign to help further the awareness of non-profits like PADS.”

Service dogs are life-changing, and provide much-needed independence for many Canadians living with disabilities.

“Queso is my fourth Mobility Dog from PADS. He has become an incredible sidekick, enriching my daily life in ways I never thought possible,” shared Sarah Bourne, a client of PADS.

“His exceptional proficiency in physical tasks—like retrieving dropped items, adjusting my feet on my wheelchair footplates, and skillfully opening and closing doors—has granted me new levels of independence and deepened our bond.”

The Pup Patty is only available for ordering at A&W drive-thrus, as pets are not allowed inside the dining area.

So, next time you’re heading to your local A&W drive-thru, don’t forget to take your furry pal with you!

And if you happen to be in downtown Victoria with your dog, don’t forget about the new A&W walk up window at 1023 Government Street, in the former Birks jewellery store.
