Book Launch at Bolen Books

Join the crew at Bolen Books for an in-store book launch featuring local author and investor, Andrew Wilkinson!

Never Enough: From Barista to Billionaire follows Wilkinson’s journey from a college dropout to tech investor and businessman.

So, whether you’re an aspiring entrepreneur or simply intrigued, you can purchase a ticket for $41 here—the price includes the event and a copy of the book.

Yoga in the Park: Willows Beach

Stay active and enjoy the beauty of the beach!

Oak Bay Parks, Recreation and Culture is hosting free yoga classes every Tuesday until the end of August, led by Ajna Yoga and Oak Bay Recreation Yoga Instructors.

All they ask is that you bring your own yoga mat!

Music in the Park

Looking for a relaxing evening of live entertainment while also enjoying the outdoors?

Look no further! Majestic Park is hosting a free music event and there’s food available for purchase or you can bring a picnic.

The featured band is Vinyl Wave.

Fired Up!

Create your own personalized masterpiece at Fired Up!

Simply reserve a time for you (and perhaps some friends), chose from over 150 different pre-formed items, and get to designing a special item.

They’ve worked hard to create a welcoming, creative, and meditative space, so you can fulfill your artistic and relaxation needs all at once!

Prices depend on the pre-formed item you choose, but they can start as low as $10.

Tuesday Night Jazz

Enjoy a night of stellar jazz in the ambience of James Bay United Church as they present the Kelby MacNayr Quintet!

Artists include Owen Chow on trumpet, Roy Styffe playing the saxophone, Zack Santella on piano, Peter Dowse playing Bass and MacNayr on drums and composing.

Admission is by donation.
