Looking for a night of good music with pals?

Pink Party: A Fabulous Fundraiser

Friends of Dorothy and Victoria Arts Council are throwing a fundraising event!

Celebrating love in all forms, the theme is all things pink—which symbolizes love and compassion and elicits feelings of comfort, warmth and hope.

There will be an art auction, a DJ set, cocktails and some snacks!

Tickets are just over $106 and can be purchased via Eventbrite. Your ticket includes one cocktail.

End of Summer Open Jam

Quadratic Sound is hosting an open jam event to mark the shortening summer days!

Whether you’re a seasoned musician or just starting out, they pride themselves in being a great atmosphere to share your talents, meet fellow music enthusiasts and enjoy general good vibes.

Just make sure you bring your own instrument and any equipment you might need—they provide a backline, which includes drums, guitar amp, bass amp, keyboard and vocal mics.

General admission is $10, plus a one-time $5 membership fee.

Oak Bay Summer Concert 

Enjoy some fantastic free live music with the stunning backdrop of Willows Beach!

Presented by Oak Bay Parks, Recreation and Culture, with financial support from the Province of British Columbia, these concerts highlight local musicians and bring the community together.

Headliners The Soul Shakers are one of the best dance bands on Vancouver Island and are ready to rock your world!

Create your own personalized masterpiece at Fired Up!

Simply reserve a time for you (and perhaps some friends), chose from over 150 different pre-formed items, and get to designing a special item.

They’ve worked hard to create a welcoming, creative, and meditative space, so you can fulfill your artistic and relaxation needs all at once!

Prices depend on the pre-formed item you choose, but they can start as low as $10.
