Stories in the Park
Join Esquimalt Parks and Recreation at Macaulay Point Park for story time!
Meant for children ages 2 to 5 (though all are welcome), they’ll be reading stories from BC authors followed by a themed activity.
This Thursday will feature West Coast Wild at Low Tide by Deborah Hodge.

Head Lands at Gage Gallery
Looking for a quiet wander in an art gallery?
Gage Gallery’s current exhibition is Head Lands, which explores contemporary landscapes, seascapes and skyscapes.

Quadra Night Market
The Mental Health Recovery Partners South Island (MHRP SI) and Quadra Village Community Centre (QVCC) are hosting their first-ever Quadra Night Market.
It will take place on Thursday, August 8th on the field at 950 Kings Road from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., and is not only a spectacular hotspot for neat finds, it’s also a fundraiser!
The proceeds will be split and donated between MHRP SI and QVCC, both of which are registered nonprofits offering free, self-referral, life changing services to the community.
Admission is set at a suggested $5 donation and/or non-perishable food items. Those aged 16 and under can get in for free.

Random Killing at Lucky Bar
Hailing from Toronto, punk rock legends Random Killing are taking over the Stage at Lucky Bar this Thursday!
Local bands Fully Crazed, Brewtality and Boloc will be joining them, elevating the evening and satisfying all of your live music needs.
Cover is $20 at the door.
