Duncan woman who hasn’t been seen for months found deceased

UPDATE: A Duncan woman who has been missing for months has been found dead.

Jacqueline Neuwirth was reported missing on July 29th, but hadn’t been seen since February 1st.

Just days after police issued a media release, they have confirmed her body has been located and that criminality is not suspected in her death.

North Cowichan/Duncan RCMP are searching for a missing woman who hasn’t been seen in months. 

Jacqueline Neuwirth was reported missing on July 29th, but hasn’t been seen since February 1st of this year in Duncan. 

Police describe her as a 49-year-old Caucasian woman, standing at 5’7” tall, weighing 130 pounds, with blonde hair and brown eyes.

RCMP said they are very concerned for Neuwirth’s health and well-being. 

No further details were provided at this time.
