A large search is underway for a Duncan woman who hasn’t been seen since noon Friday.
According to Phoebe Danielson, her sister in-law, Carla Danielson, has been missing since around noon in Duncan by Sherman Road soccer park.
Her car and wallet are at home and nobody has talked to her since noon.
“She didn’t show up to pick up daughter from daycare. Family is desperately searching! VERY unlike her, “ said Phoebe.
Family are asking those in Duncan to check their ring cameras.
Cowichan Search and Rescue are currently aiding in the search and are going door to door.
According to family, her phone has been pinged near the Cowichan District Hospital.
“We are currently working on our 4th call-out of the day,” said Cowichan Search and Rescue.
If you live near Sherman Park area there will be SAR members going door to door.
You will be asked to view your security camera footage in order to determine a direction of travel.
