BC SPCA Photo Contest
From September 4th to 22nd, the BC SPCA is hosting a photo contest fundraiser that could win them a spot on the label of a Yellow Dog Brewing Beer!
To participate, create an entry for your pet and ask your loved ones to vote for your photo by donating to the BC SPCA.
Four lucky animal lovers will earn their pets spot on the label of a limited-edition Yellow Dog Brewing beer that will be sold across the province!

Bands!Bands!Bands!
The iconic Bands!Bands!Bands! series hosted by the Victoria Event Centre (VEC) is celebrating its year anniversary—so far having invited nearly 50 local, upcoming bands to play!
This Tuesday will feature Sharon, Diamond Day, Chilko in the Rosemary and Sweet Delirium.
Tickets are $7 if purchased in advance and $10 at the door.

Village Choir Fall Season
If you’re looking to join a local choir group, then this is for you!
The Village Choir is hosting their first rehearsal this Tuesday at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church and is inviting anyone interested to come and check it out.
They charge a $245 registration fee, which includes a concert featuring special guests and a full band, a choir binder, a video of the concert, the concert afterparty, and a big choir social during the season.

Zumba Glow Party
Zumba Lizy is hosting a glow party Zumba class!
