Happy Monday, Victoria—we hope you had a wonderful weekend!

We’ve now entered a new week, which means another lineup of cruise ships and plenty of excited people ready to experience the beauty our city has to offer.

From Monday, September 23rd to Sunday, September 29th, a total of 12 cruise ships will arrive at Ogden Point terminal, carrying a total of 37,635 passengers.

Two ships kicked us off this Monday, with Brilliance of the Seas arriving at 7 a.m. with 2,543 people; and the Carnival Spirit, which arrived at 8 a.m. with 2,124 people.

Tuesday provides a brief rest period before Wednesday brings us Sapphire Princess with 2,600 passengers at 7 a.m.

Sapphire Princess entered service in 2004 and is a part of the Princess Cruises line. At the time of its construction, it was one of the world’s largest ships!

It underwent a refurbishment in 2018 and holds a 4.5/5 score on Cruise Critic—which praises their kids’ club, a relaxed easy-going vibe and intimate dining experiences.

The cruise ships to follow are as such:

  • Thursday, September 26th at 11 a.m.: Ovation of the Seas with 4,180 passengers
  • Thursday, September 26th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Sun with 1,936 passengers
  • Friday, September 27th at 7:30 p.m.: Norwegian Bliss with 4,250 passengers
