The much-anticipated Brewery & the Beast is returning, and it is shaping up to be the culinary event of the year on Vancouver Island.
Event organizers say this year’s edition promises to raise the bar even higher, featuring an incredible lineup of chefs, beverage makers, and artisans, all coming together for a truly epic festival.
Over 50 top chefs from Vancouver Island’s most celebrated restaurants will be showcasing their skills over live fire. From juicy cuts to creative, flavour-packed dishes, every bite is designed to wow.
And it’s not just about the meat—there’s an impressive array of craft beers, cocktails, ciders, seltzers, wines, and non-alcoholic drinks, all included and served in unlimited quantities to perfectly complement the feast.
This year’s festival welcomes some exciting new players to the scene. Bar Luna from Nanaimo, Toki Doki from Tofino, and Victoria’s own Hazel’s Ice Cream are joining the fun.
Meanwhile, fan favourites like The Whole Beast, Marilena Cafe & Raw Bar, and Two Rivers Meats from Vancouver will be returning to satisfy your cravings.
While the VIP chef line-up is still under wraps, it promises to feature top talent from across Canada and the USA, with more details to come.
To ensure this year’s event is the best yet, Brewery & the Beast is rolling out several enhancements. A reduced number of tickets will be sold, ensuring you have more access to chefs, beverage stations, and venue amenities.
There will be more chefs on site, cooking up more of their mouth-watering creations, and a wider selection of drinks to keep you refreshed.
Expect the return of large-format cooking, with highlights like the Pyramid de Fuego, serving up traditional Argentinian BBQ, and the crowd-pleasing Chicken Bus delivering fried chicken dreams on wheels.
“Thanks to an incredible line-up of talent and the many improvements we’ve made, this year’s Brewery & the Beast Vancouver is going to be the most memorable yet,” said Scott Gurney, Director of 17 Black Events, which produces the beloved annual event on Vancouver Island, as well as Vancouver and Calgary.
“Each presenting chef brings something special to the table. It’s a reminder of the vibrant spirit of innovation and collaboration that defines our food scene, and we’re honoured to be a part of it.”
Beyond the food and drink, Brewery & the Beast also offers a vibrant entertainment scene, with live music from local band Cities, on-site activations, and a 50/50 raffle hosted by the Chef’s Table Society.
