Mark your calendars for September 14th, because Cineplex Community Day is back and it’s promising to be better than ever.
This year, the 12th annual event promises a morning of free family-friendly movies and arcade gaming, all while supporting a fantastic cause.
From 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., participating theatres will offer free admission to the following movies:
- Everything Everywhere All At Once
- My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3
- PAW Patrol: The Movie
- PAW Patrol: The Mighty Movie
You can reserve tickets here. In addition to the free movies, participating Cineplex theatres will offer select $3 concession items on the morning of Community Day.
XSCAPE arcade gaming is making its debut at select theatres where you can enjoy free arcades before your movie starts.
The Rec Room and Playdium will also be part of the festivities, offering a morning of free non-redemption gaming. Each guest will receive a one-hour game band, and food and beverages will be available at the discounted price of $3 each.
Some locations will even feature attractions such as bowling, ping pong, and pool.
All proceeds from concession sales and XSCAPE Play Cards will go directly to BGC Canada (formerly Boys and Girls Clubs of Canada). This organization has been empowering Canada’s youth for 125 years, helping them build skills and confidence.
Last year, Cineplex raised over $535,000 for BGC Canada’s programs, and they are aiming to surpass that amount this year. This is an opportunity to enjoy a fun morning and support a cause that has a meaningful impact on young lives.
