Share

VicPD have renewed their call for a missing person who was last seen on Tuesday, August 20th.

VicPD’s Major Crime Unit has joined the search for 28-year-old Sevina, also known as “Moxie,” who has been missing since Tuesday, August 20th.

Police have classified her as a “high-risk missing person” and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

VicPD describe Sevina as standing 5’5” tall with a slim build and having short, brown hair. She was believed to be travelling on foot with camping gear.

According to VicPD, the criteria used to determine a high-risk missing person is if they:

  • Are under 18-years-old
  • Female
  • Indigenous
  • Suffer from mental or physical health issues
  • Suffer from drug addiction
  • Are involved in high-risk trafficking
  • Have a medical diagnosis of Alzheimer’s or dementia
  • Or if going missing is uncharacteristic
  • Police say Sevina’s family are deeply concerned for her well-being and safety.

VicPD informed Victoria Buzz that the missing person file has been transferred to Major Crime, partly due to the length of Sevina’s disappearance and her classification as a high-risk missing person.

Anyone who sees Sevina (Moxie) should call 911 right away. Those with information about where Sevina may be should call VicPD at (250) 995-7654.
