Prominent Victoria business owner joins BC Conservative Party

A prominent Victoria business owner has joined the BC Conservative Party to run in the upcoming election.

John Wilson, President and CEO of Wilson’s Group of Companies, has been announced as the Conservative Party candidate for the Esquimalt-Colwood riding.

Wilson, a lifelong resident of Victoria, operates a prominent local transportation company known for its extensive bus lines and shuttles.

The Conservative Party of BC highlights Wilson’s extensive community involvement and leadership.

Wilson will be competing in the upcoming election against Camille Currie of the Green Party.

Darlene Rotchfoed has been nominated as the NDP candidate following Mitzi Dean’s decision to step down last week.

Former BC United candidate Meagan Brame is not anticipated to run as an independent.

The election for the Esquimalt-Colwood riding is shaping up to be a notable contest, with candidates from various parties presenting their visions for the future of the region.

The upcoming provincial election will take place on October 19th.
