West Shore RCMP confirmed they are investigating a targeted shooting and vehicle fire in Colwood.

In the early hours of Monday, September 2nd, West Shore RCMP responded to an incident in the 3300 block of Ravenwood Road in Colwood.

Around 1:15 a.m., reports of gunshots and two vehicles on fire prompted a large emergency response.

Upon arrival, officers discovered two vehicles engulfed in flames and evidence of multiple gunshots fired at a nearby residence. The occupants of the home were evacuated, and Colwood Fire Rescue quickly extinguished the vehicle fires, preventing further damage to the property.

West Shore RCMP said preliminary findings suggest that this was a targeted attack, and there is no indication that the general public is at further risk.

RCMP has launched an ongoing investigation into the incident, though no additional details have been released at this time.

Unconfirmed reports have circulated identifying the targeted home as belonging to Punjabi singer AP Dhillon.

A video obtained by Victoria Buzz, though not independently verified, appears to show a man deliberately setting two vehicles on fire using an accelerant before firing multiple shots at a house. A vehicle then arrives at the scene, and the suspects quickly jump in before fleeing.

Additionally, a post purportedly made by gangster Rohit Godara is circulating online, claiming responsibility for the shooting at two locations in Canada – one in Victoria Iand the other in Woodbridge, Toronto.

According to the sources, Godara fired outside the singer’s house in retaliation for Dhillon featuring Salman Khan in a music video. The post also contains death threats directed at the singer and asserts a connection to notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

West Shore RCMP are urging any motorists with vehicle cameras who were in the area of Veteran’s Memorial Parkway, from Sooke Road to Bear Mountain Parkway, between midnight and 1:30 a.m. on Monday, September 2nd, to contact them at 250-474-2264.

More to come.
