VicPD is asking for more witnesses to come forward after a man carrying bear spray threatened multiple motorists early Saturday morning in the 1500-block of Fort Street.
Around 6 a.m. on September 21st, police responded to reports of a man approaching vehicles and threatening drivers with bear spray, claiming he would stab or spray them.
Thanks to help from witnesses in the area, officers located the suspect, who fled on foot.
During the arrest, the man assaulted and threatened two officers before being taken into custody.
Investigators are particularly interested in speaking with the driver of a silver vehicle, possibly a woman, who was also threatened but left before police arrived.
Police are actively investigating and are urging any additional victims to come forward to aid in the investigation.
