Victoria Buzz / Haltwhistle Cheese Contest Guidelines

Contest begins on July 23, 2020 at 7:00am PT and ends on July 29, 2020 at 11:59pm PT (“End Time”). Victoria Buzz may, in its sole discretion, extend the End Time for the Contest. Entries received after the End Time may be disqualified by Victoria Buzz in its sole discretion. 

There are 30 prize packs available to be won as follows:

  • 4 hand-crafted cheeses from Haltwhistle Cheese – 1 x Nailsea (Gouda), 1 x Thombury (Tomme), 1 x Abergavenny (Blue) and 1 x Cheese Curds 

(Estimated retail value = $50) 

Note: cheeses described above are subject to availability and Haltwhistle Cheese, in its sole discretion, may interchange cheese products ensuring that four products and estimated retail value continue to be maintained as part of the prize package. 

Skill-testing question required. A potential winner must sign and deliver a release prior to receiving the prize(s).

Open to legal resident(s) of Greater Vancouver, Victoria, Nanaimo and communities along HWY 1 in between including: Saanich, Langford, Bamberton, Mill Bay, Cobble Hill, Cowichan Bay, Duncan, Westholme, Cheaminus, and Ladysmith who are age of majority in the province or territory of resident at time of entry. Must have a valid eligible address for delivery purposes otherwise pick-up of prize will be required from Haltwhistle Cheese headquarters located in Duncan, BC. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received before contest closes. 

To enter the contest, an entrant has to visit Victoria Buzz’s Instagram post on this contest at, like the post, follow @BCMilk and @HalwhistleCheese, comment on the post by tagging another Instagram user and/or share post to Instagram Stories. Each eligible comment by the entrant represents one entry for the entrant in the contest. 

For every eligible entry, BC Dairy Association will donate $1 to Food Banks BC inclusive of the entire BC Giveaway Series campaign. The BC Giveaway Series features 15 different local businesses across BC and runs from June 18, 2020 to August 12, 2020. More details can be found here:
