We spoke to BC Transit spokesperson Jonathon Dyck, who confirmed that at about 8 AM on Wednesday morning, bus #14 was headed eastbound on Craigflower Road when the driver heard a loud noise at the back of the bus.
When he pulled over and went to the back, he found broken glass and immediately contacted the transit supervisor who then escalated the incident to the RCMP.
#yyjtraffic I was just on the #14 bus on Craigflower near Admirals when 2 windows were shot likely from a pellet gun.

A targeted crime
In a press release this afternoon, the RCMP confirmed that two windows were smashed by the impact of the pellets, but thankfully none entered the bus and there were no injuries.
They also believe that the crime was targeted, and there is no danger to the general public.
“Our investigators, along with BC Transit, responded to ensure no passengers were hurt. Thankfully no one suffered any injuries,” stated Cst. Matt Baker of the West Shore RCMP. ”
“There are several avenues for us to investigate and we are receiving great cooperation from the public.”
