It’s finally June—time to kick off summer!
The annual Oak Bay Tea Party is back for its 56th year running, and this year promises to be a blast as always.
The Tea Party will run Saturday, June 2 from 7:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m., and
Sunday, June 3, from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
Here’s what to expect this year:
Rides galore
If you want to get started early, the Shooting Star Amusements midway will open tonight from 4 until 9 p.m.
If you’re planning on making multiple trips over the weekend, consider buying a wristband, as they will only be available tonight—Saturday and Sundays will be ticket sales only.
The Oak Bay Tea Party Parade
A favourite Oak Bay tradition, the Tea Party Parade will start on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Windsor Park. It will then head through the streets of Oak Bay, ending at Willows Park around 11:15 a.m.
