West Shore RCMP have arrested one man and seized a significant amount drugs while executing search warrants at a residence last week.
On Friday, May 10th, officers searched a residential property on Moyes Road near Treanor Ave in Langford.
Officers executed two search warrants and were able to seize the following:
- over $1200 cash
- over 43 grams of crack cocaine
- 175 grams of methamphetamine
- 5.5 grams of fentanyl
- drug packaging materials,
- and a number of fake prescription drugs suspected to be opioids.
They also arrested one man in his 30s on charges of drug Trafficking, Breach of Recognizance as well as Theft Under $5,000.
“The individual arrested is well known to police as a chronic offender and has been arrested previously for drug trafficking related offences,” said Cst. De Grey.
“Getting drugs and weapons off the streets is a priority for the unit.”
