Cancel your beach plans and don those galoshes – we’re in for some showers this week!

From Wednesday June 5th until Friday June 7th, Environment Canada predicts that Victoria is set to receive rainfall aplenty.

The next three days should help offset dry conditions on southern Vancouver Island before we return to the usual summer sun.

Temperatures are expected to reach daytime highs of 16°C with nighttime lows of 8°C and a brief respite from the rain on Thursday night.

For those who can’t wait to get back to tanning by the poolside, the sun should be making a sporadic comeback on Sunday and next Monday.
