1. Snowbird pilots will be at the BC Aviation Museum!

The Snowbirds are the formation flying team of the Royal Canadian Air Force, who have been thrilling crowds with their exciting flying displays for more than forty years. We are very pleased to announce that the Snowbird pilots will be at the BC Aviation Museum on Tuesday 11th August at 2:30 p.m. If you visit the museum on that day, you will be able to chat with current Snowbird pilots and also some of the veterans of the original Snowbird teams. 

Located at 1910 Norseman Road, on the east side of Victoria International Airport.

2. Yoga in the Park

Yoga is a great way to relieve stress, build strength, and increase flexibility for participants of all shapes, sizes, and abilities. Helena is an experienced yoga teacher and will be running a weekly yoga session at Victoria West Park for students of all shapes, sizes and, abilities. No experience necessary. (Limited mats available for use) 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm at Victoria West Park

3. Movie Night: Woman in Gold

The Oak Bay Beach Hotel is thrilled to once again welcome back a long standing tradition of big screen releases to the community through our regularly scheduled movie nights in the David Foster Foundation Theatre.

4. Rocky Mountain Express in IMAX

5. Victoria Flamenco Festival

For the third year in a row, Victoria’s Centennial Square is exploding with the passion and rhythm of flamenco music and dance! The Victoria Flamenco Festival will run Aug. 10 – 16, showcasing local and regional dancers, singers and guitarists collaborating to bring their love of this fiery art form to the stage in the Square. Be inspired at the mid-week por fiesta lunch-hour performances, and invigorated on Saturday and Sunday afternoons with the powerful line-up of local, regional, aspiring and professional flamenco artists.
